The Indoor Winter Tennis Team Competition is a competition for players over 18 years in the playing categories 6 to 9 (it is not mandatory to be a member of the KNLTB). We organize this tournament together with Tennis & Sports Center de Nieuwe Brug in Haarlem and Vijfhuizen.
The indoor winter 8&9 competition is especially for playing strength 8 and 9. An ideal form of competition for anyone who has just started playing tennis or for those with doubles strength 8 and 9 who have been playing tennis for a while, but have never played competition before. This competition is mainly characterized by its sociable nature, has no promotion / relegation and where fun rallies are more important than wins or losses.
During a competition night, two doubles are played in which all combinations are possible (DD, HD, GD). So it can happen that two women play against a man and a woman or against two men. We hope that all participants get acquainted with playing competition in a pleasant and pleasant way, for example, the matches do not count towards your rating.
The indoor winter 6&7 competition is for the more experienced tennis player who already plays tournaments and/or competition. This competition is also characterized by its sociable nature.
A league round consists of two doubles matches. In the competition, the two doubles matches need not be arranged in order of decreasing playing strength. A player may play in both doubles matches in the competition (but not 2x with the same partner).
